Nourish and Rewire - The Festive Edit Masterclass

8-9pm 21st October 2026

About this event

The festive season is full of things to look forward to. For many women, it can also bring a very different experience around food.

Perhaps you recognise some of these…

You know you are going out for dinner, so you hardly eat during the day to "save your calories" - only to arrive absolutely starving.

You tell yourself you will only have one or two nibbles at the Christmas party, but the food is right in front of you, everyone else is eating, and before you know it you have eaten far more than you intended.

Someone brings chocolates or mince pies into work and you find yourself repeatedly reaching for them - sometimes without really thinking about whether you actually want one.

You have had an exhausting day. You finally sit down in the evening and think "I deserve this." Food becomes the reward, comfort or switch-off at the end of the day.

Or perhaps you eat and enjoy a lovely meal, but instead of simply enjoying it and moving on, the guilt starts afterwards.

"Why did I eat that?"

"I've ruined it now."

"I may as well carry on and start again in January."

But what if the problem isn't that you don't know enough about food?

Most of us already know what we "should" be eating. The harder part is putting that knowledge into practice when real life gets involved. Because we don't make decisions about food based on nutritional knowledge alone. Our choices can also be influenced by stress, tiredness, emotions, habits, social pressure and patterns we may have repeated for years.

That is where Nourish and Rewire is different.

During our hour together we will explore:

• Why eating outside the home has become such a regular part of our lives and two practical strategies to help you navigate it with more confidence

• What can happen when you arrive at an event hungry, tired or already feeling deprived, and how to prepare differently

• Why stress, emotions, social pressure and familiar patterns can influence our choices, often before we have even had a chance to think

• Why this is not simply about willpower and how automatic habits and associations play a bigger role than we realise

• A simple technique to help you pause and make a more conscious choice in the moment

• A real life festive scenario where Saira and Reshma show you how nutrition and mindset work together

• A short guided experience with Reshma so you can feel the difference for yourself , not just hear about it

Saira brings the Nourish - practical, realistic strategies to navigate meals, eating out and festive occasions without feeling that you have to avoid everything you enjoy.

Reshma brings the Rewire - exploring what happens between knowing what you want to do and actually doing it, and how creating even a small pause can give you the chance to choose differently.

This is not about getting through December without touching dessert. It is about making more conscious choices, including choosing to say yes, and actually enjoying the festive season without the guilt that so often follows.
